Around 2014 (when I added SSL for HTTPS to most of my websites after the Google decree), I removed the www prefix from them. All newer sites I have created since then were born without it, including SpeakCastilian.com. Other than mine, other important sites have also removed www (or never had it in the first place), including Medium.com, QuickBooks Online (that link will save you up to 50% on your subscription), SeveralTranslations.com (whose owner Séverine translated one of my recent books to French), WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
